Crowd and Magical Fireworks

Memories of a cool night at Magic Kingdom back in January 5, 2018. When been close to people it was not a big issue. Back when we used to breath the same air without been afraid or concern of each other.

Enjoy the colorful fireworks and the silhouettes of the crowd.

I can’t wait to do this again! Have you been in Disney World and experience a magical night like this one?

Do you love the place you live at?

In a regular year I plan to travel at least six times, at least two of those six are major travel plans out of the US, the others are more local here in US. But in times like this that we can not travel we have to re focus and value the marvelous place where we live. I live in Florida and to be honest I am not a fan of the outdoors here, just the weather and the beach are what attracts me and is home… I been here for 23 years. But I want mountains, I don’t want alligator, neither tannic waters or wetlands or anything in that line. I am an outdoor person and I had learn to appreciate the outdoors here for other reasons (birds and other wildlife that are not alligators).

Anyways, I had learned … specially now, to value and appreciate the natural beauty of my hometown now more than ever.

(Still I wish I can go to Europe right now 😬)

What do you like from the place you live?

Red-Winged Blackbirds?

Certainly the name comes from the dark, shiny black color with red and yellow painting on the wings of the males.

But if you don’t know the female of the red-winged bird you would not recognized her. Her brown and cream and not so shiny color is not as attractive as the male.  But still the male is the one that look for her attention.

I enjoy this little details of life, these birds you can see them everywhere but do we stop to notice this things. The amazing creativity behind nature, is beauty in simplicity.

Focus On The Search

How focus are we when we are trying to get something that we want or that we need? If the Osprey that I photograph here wasn’t focus enough on its search for food, it would not eat. While I was trying to get him focus on my lens, the osprey was in its search for food. He tried and tried again, soaring while looking down, then trying to get low to get a closer look, then went up again. This happens over and over again until he was able to catch his fish, and then flew away.

Maybe we should have that kind of focusing when we want something. Instead of giving up we should try again and again, at the end it will pay off.

Making an Event of Anything

Some people take for granted the little things of life. I love to run bicycle outdoors because it gives me a chance to appreciate nature. I always carry my camera everywhere I go, specially on outdoor activities. Here is a typical Florida afternoon in October. My husband and I went for a ride. Other people are walking or biking too. There are boats on the lake moving around , some families are having a afternoon picnic at the gazebos. Parents are with their kids at the playground, and here I am stopping every few minutes to take pictures. Here are some of them.
