How people celebrate Christmas Eve in Fort Lauderdale?

Come take a look! I was walking Christmas Eve afternoon around Fort Lauderdale beach and found that plenty of people like to hang at the beach during the holiday. The restaurants and bars were full, the walkway by the side of the beach was embracing the different characters that were just hanging there and the beach was happy that people considered it as a choice to spend the day. Let’s take a look.

Taking a picture is part of the fun when you are out in a place. Taking pictures is a part of the every day life for us. People love to document what they do, they love to share it to! 😉

Like all these people I was there too and taking pictures. But I wanted to see them, having fun and enjoying life!

Until them,

Learning How to drive in Ireland

After a great week in Iceland where Gate 1 was in charge of our vacation and we just enjoyed it, we were about to start a whole different experience in Ireland. We landed at Dublin in the morning, got our rental car and with GPS in hand we were off to go to the city. The excitement started going like three times around on our first roundabout after leaving the airport. That warm up my husband to be over conscious about driving on the right seat. Once in the city it took us a few loopy loops around the area to find a parking. Although we started to feel the pain of our adventure we were excited to walk around, eat in am Irish pub and get some traditional food.

After tummies we’re full we visited our first castle of this trip, Dublin Castle. We took a tour, I highly recommend, here I learned the difference between castle and palace. Dublin castle is two in one.

We fell in love with the city, the energy and the movement of people throughout the streets. But energy was exactly what we were lacking in the afternoon. We had a long day after traveling from Iceland early in the morning. Still we were needing to drive to Limerick that was the place we were staying, so we had 2 and half more hours to go. Around 5pm we left Dublin but leaving that area was a little bit stressful because of the traffic and our tension of not taking the wrong turn because for us was completely new driving on the right seat of the car. Once we got into the highway was a sweet drive. Beautiful mountains, tower ruins everywhere, lots of green view. We got to the hotel around eight at night, we rested well and the next day we were off to go. I will tell you what we did on the next post.

It was the first time, and it wouldn’t be the last.

It was the fist time in my life that I traveled, I was 18 years old and it wouldn’t be the last. Twenty five years later I can testify that, that trip to Disney World wasn’t my last.

Back then, I lived in Puerto Rico and I had never traveled before. I used to dream about Disney World, it was like a fantasy to me. The whole concept of traveling to the US it was like a dream. I never imagine back then that eight years later I was going to be living permanently in Orlando Florida. If I never imagine that, less I imagine that I was going to be working everyday on Disney property. Back then was a dream, this day is my every day life thing.
It was my first time traveling and it was my first time at Disney World, and definitely hasn’t been the last. That was just the beginning of Travelmystories I just didn’t know it back then.

In some of the pictures we were at Universal Studios. Actually on that vacation we stayed at Central Florida for 3 weeks and we visited all the parks including Bush Garden in Tampa. My family always took us on vacation, but in Puerto Rico. We visited many places and stayed in different towns during our vacation. But this special one, was our first family vacation in the US. Thank God for cameras, and albums we have now great memories to re-live.
Where did you go on your first travel?
Until then,

An Important Number During Our Honeymoon

We took a MSC cruise on the Mediterranean for our honeymoon. Ge got our own table(723)for our 10 days cruise and Luiza was our server all the time. At the end of our trip we loved Luiza and it was sad to say goodbye. We learned a little bit about her and why she was doing that job. She is a single mom and her mom take care of her daughter so she can provide for them. The way she talked about her daughter was so inspiring and full of emotions and sadness because of the distant between them.
When I reflect on things like this, I have to recognize how bless I am. Also makes me think more reasons for loving travel. When you travel you have the opportunity to meet amazing people, with different cultures but with the same needs that we all have.
Get inspired to travel, balance your life with amazing experiences, and find a number in your travels that will inspire a whole new story. 😉

Exciting News and a Win-Win Situation!

I am happy to announce that I can help anybody on creating their own travel stories! And even better, this will help me create my own travel stories to share with you on my blog!!

I decided to become a travel consultant! I been thinking about this for months now and finally made my decision. Travel is one my passions, I want to see with my own eyes the beauty of this world and cultures. But lately has been difficult to do that with my full-time job and other responsibilities. Also we just bought a house and you may know all the expenses that comes with that. I am in need of an extra income that eventually I want to convert in my main source of income.

What a team we are going to be my husband and me! A pilot and a travel consultant, I think we will be well equipped to help you with your travel and tourist needs :).

I am in the process of getting my certification at this very moment. Soon I will be announcing and sharing my website that I will link with my blog. Now you see why is a win-win situation! I help you, you help me, we both travel and I can write more stories! And if you are a blogger or a travel writer even better you will have your own stories to write 😉

Well until then, I need to go back to study!
