Taste Local Beers in the Sunshine State

With Your Furry Best Friend

Dreamy Cold Beer Day

This would be the ideal way of enjoying a cold beer with your furry friend in the hot weather of the sunshine state.

But this is too good to be truth unless you are in a private beach and where dogs are allowed.

Don’t worry I have the solution for you, lets look at five different microbreweries in Florida where you can enjoy a cold local Florida beer with your family and friends including your four legged family members.

Lets start on the East coast, after been on the beach all day you can stop and hop to New Smyrna Beach Brewing Company to drink something refreshing. The outdoor area is small but you can sit with your doggy friend, and there is no food just beers.

Another East coast brewery that you can visit after a beach day, but this time on the souther area of the state is Funky Buddha Brewery.

Here there is plenty of space inside and out to enjoy food and beer.

If you want to feel some fast energy going by while enjoying the night you can seat outside and see the train pass by.

Drink your beer as fast as the train passes, then you will be ready for another one.

What about if you are in the West coast? No worries I have a suggestion for you, if you are in the St. Petersburg area you can stop by Pinellas Ale Works (PAW).

Yappy Hour!

In the outdoor patio you can enjoy live music and food, they have a permanent food truck and also they do other types of activities like fundraising and art sales.

Changing scenarios, in the central part of the state in the small beautiful town of Clermont there is this very active and popular brewery between the locals, Suncreek Brewery.

The Lakefront is at walking distance from the brewery, people like to go for a walk or do some exercise then they stop by to grab something to eat and a beer.

There is a lot of coming and going in the afternoons here at Suncreek Brewery.

We are ending our list with one of our favorite breweries in Central Florida, Crooked Can located in Winter Garden.

After a nice stroll through Plant St. or after riding your bike through the biking trail that crosses the area, you can stop by this busy brewery.

This list is not even the beginning, there are over 300 craft beer breweries in Florida, not all are pet friendly but still a lot more than we can cover in this tiny list.
