These images bring to my mind the song Peace Be Still
During difficult moments is necessary to find a place within us or physically somewhere were we can connect with that peace that will help us to stay calm.

We will never know if the pelican got the fish in this attempt, but I am sure it will try again and again until it catch something.

This is a response to a BIRD WEEKLY – PHOTO CHALLENGE – DUCKS AND GEESE
Enjoy my birds : )
In a regular year I plan to travel at least six times, at least two of those six are major travel plans out of the US, the others are more local here in US. But in times like this that we can not travel we have to re focus and value the marvelous place where we live. I live in Florida and to be honest I am not a fan of the outdoors here, just the weather and the beach are what attracts me and is home… I been here for 23 years. But I want mountains, I don’t want alligator, neither tannic waters or wetlands or anything in that line. I am an outdoor person and I had learn to appreciate the outdoors here for other reasons (birds and other wildlife that are not alligators).
Anyways, I had learned … specially now, to value and appreciate the natural beauty of my hometown now more than ever.
(Still I wish I can go to Europe right now 😬)
What do you like from the place you live?
