A Stroll Through Florida Woods

One afternoon, not far from home we went for a walk at Lake Louisa State Park. It was our first time here even though this place is like five minutes away from home. Sometimes the best treasures are in front of you. Take a look…

Can you see the Pileated Woodpecker?

Do you love the place you live at?

In a regular year I plan to travel at least six times, at least two of those six are major travel plans out of the US, the others are more local here in US. But in times like this that we can not travel we have to re focus and value the marvelous place where we live. I live in Florida and to be honest I am not a fan of the outdoors here, just the weather and the beach are what attracts me and is home… I been here for 23 years. But I want mountains, I don’t want alligator, neither tannic waters or wetlands or anything in that line. I am an outdoor person and I had learn to appreciate the outdoors here for other reasons (birds and other wildlife that are not alligators).

Anyways, I had learned … specially now, to value and appreciate the natural beauty of my hometown now more than ever.

(Still I wish I can go to Europe right now 😬)

What do you like from the place you live?

Royal Tern Mating Ritual

Life is a miracle every day if you pay attention. If you don’t pay attention, is just another day…

Male doing a little dance around female.

His wings get in a position of greatness while looking for her attention.

Hey! Come back here… “he said”

He gets tall and attractive, she is jus walking normal.

Have you tried wind surfing?

I have not tried wind surfing, but I like to see other people doing it. I was just at the beach with my camera, capturing moments and photographing birds. Social distancing, but out enjoying the outdoors, the beach, the wind… Watching other people having fun and appreciating life, in a save way is nice! Is the best way to live in pandemic times.

The little things in life are big now, like just been outdoors and respecting others. Delight on the simple things, those bring peace.
