A Stroll Through Florida Woods

One afternoon, not far from home we went for a walk at Lake Louisa State Park. It was our first time here even though this place is like five minutes away from home. Sometimes the best treasures are in front of you. Take a look…

Can you see the Pileated Woodpecker?

Burying Beetles on the Farm

I had never seen this kind of beetles. I saw them burying a dead frog on the middle of a dirt path. I got curious and took some pictures and then look information about them. So to make the explanation short, they bury small dead animals to use as food source for their larvae to have food after they hatch. 🀒 Disgusting but interesting 🧐

A Day in the Life of an Old Farm

From big to small, from landscape photos to details this is part of what I found interesting and what I documented from a visit to a small Florida farm.

This is Mindy, the owner of the farm, taking one of her seven horses to the barn.
