Weekly Photo Challenge: Dance II

Dance required movements and coordination, it has a rhythm. Dance it’s an expression. Is a language, it can communicate a feeling, a situation. It talks without words.

The other day I was at Hollywood Studios, Orlando FL and watched the Indiana Jones show. I don’t remembering sitting so close before. I was able to appreciate the movements and coordination of these actors.  The rhythm between them in their performance is incredible. Well, I see here a form of dance.

Check  out the video for you to appreciate the movements and coordination a little better. Maybe this will motivate you to visit us in Orlando Florida and have fun visiting the parks. 😀

Until then,

Weekly Photo Challenge: Dance I

Nature and its living things have always had a way of grabbing my attention. With its simplicity and perfection. It’s so awesome and so common at the same time…  I see dance here, I see a feeding dance!

In a warm afternoon, with soft winds, the noisy American Coot have their feeding dance. Spontaneous choreography  with the rhythm of hunger and instincts they entertainment  part of my afternoon.

Thing to do at Discovery Cove

One day, so much money and so much to do. When you pay a lot of money for a ticket to a park or for an attraction you want to take advantage as much as you can of that attraction to recover the value of what you pay. At the end of the day you want to feel that it was all worth it.

Three years ago we went to Discovery Cove and for a misunderstand information we were not able to enjoy the buffet lunch that was included with the price. When we went to eat after swimming with the Dolphins, at that time the buffet was closed. Even though the park closed at 5 pm but you have until 3:00 to eat, but that was our time to swim with the Dolphins. Anyway we were really disappointed, but I can not deny that we had a great time with the Dolphin experience. After that, my husband always wanted to go back, he wanted for us to enjoy the whole experience.

So we did! This time we want en to enjoy it all. We had a great time, Jorge and I know have to have fun together. We started with breakfast which is just a regular buffet, nothing of the ordinary, but it was ok. And we went for a swim at the lazy river. The water was so soothing and warm, specially that day because it was windy and cool so feeling the warm water was very nice.

Along the way while we were going down the “paradise jungle” we encounter some friendly locals…

Then they playful otters! They are adorable! Later we swam with sting rays and fishes at freezing temperatures (at least for me. Here check out a little bit of what we did.

Then we saw these two… Don’t ask me what kind of game they are playing.

This year we didn’t swim with the Dolphins but we enjoyed seen other people having fun with the gentle creatures.

To end our full Discovery Cove experience we went to have lunch much earlier than the last time. It is so sad for me to share this, but I hated the food… 😦

We were looking forward to enjoy a great lunch, all that we could eat. Well unfortunately I tried almost all the options and didn’t like any of them. The selection that they have look like frozen food cooked in the microwave. I eat that every day at work for lunch, I didn’t need one more day of it, specially after the amount of money that you pay to go here. That lunch event almost ruin my day, I was so disappointed, I guess I didn’t miss much last time.

Discovery Cove is a one time nice experience. If you are with your loved ones you can make the best of it. But please don’t have high expectations with the food. But that is just my opinion.

Until then…

Carnival Valor Ship Inspection

Continuing on my training as a travel agent, I take advantage of any opportunity that comes along my way to understand more the industry for all kind of travelers. This past Saturday I participated on my first cruise inspection with Carnival. What that means, in this case Carnival invite us to the ship and give us a tour to see all the amenities, different kind of rooms and even they serve us an incredible lunch to taste on our own their culinary abilities.

We visited the Carnival Valor.

We were able to check out different types of rooms but the Captain Suite is the one that make the impression on me. There are only two on the ship.

A whole family can stay in this same room, have a king size bed and 2 more twin bed and a sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space outside, more and bigger than a balcony and the view is incredible, in the front part of the ship.

After seen the rooms we went around for more, from spa, gym and beauty salon to kids area and fancy restaurant, to he outdoor fun.

We ended our sight tour with a delicious lunch. Just like we were real guests of the ship, they treat us so nicely.

And to finalize our experience the dinning crew did their traditional show for us!

Now after a superb experience is my job to recommend to you these benefits. One of the wonderful things about Carnival is that you can have an amazing experience at great value for your pocket.

You can sail on Carnival Valor from Cape Canaveral to the Bahamas and to Exotic Eastern and Southern Caribbean with trips that could be from 3 to 8 days.

If you want more information you can always contact me! (407) 569-8887

Playa Linda, Central Florida Beach

Pretty Beach! That’s the name in English, but this past Memorial weekend it was only pretty to see from shore. All Florida East Coast had a warning issue for rough waves and a rip current alert. Despite the alerts people still got in the water.

In the other hand I decided to listen to the warnings and stayed dry but enjoying the sounds of the waves. While been kissed by the sun I studied a little of my travel agent work book, took some pics and even I was forced by my eyes to take a quick nap while I was trying to read.

One of the many perks of living in Central Florida is all the beaches we have in a relatively short distance and even I couldn’t enjoy the water this time it will be plenty of time for me to do it.

It is always better to listen the advises and warnings that are issued by the weather authorities. Unfortunately I heard this morning that three people were drowned during this Memorial Weekend because of the rip currents. It’s not worth it the risk! There always going to be another day to enjoy the beach without any issues.

If someday you want a vacation in Florida let me know! I can help you book any kind of vacation you want here, from Magical (Disney) to a simple get-away weekend!

Ok until then,
