Have you tried wind surfing?

I have not tried wind surfing, but I like to see other people doing it. I was just at the beach with my camera, capturing moments and photographing birds. Social distancing, but out enjoying the outdoors, the beach, the wind… Watching other people having fun and appreciating life, in a save way is nice! Is the best way to live in pandemic times.

The little things in life are big now, like just been outdoors and respecting others. Delight on the simple things, those bring peace.

Red-Winged Blackbirds?

Certainly the name comes from the dark, shiny black color with red and yellow painting on the wings of the males.

But if you don’t know the female of the red-winged bird you would not recognized her. Her brown and cream and not so shiny color is not as attractive as the male.ย  But still the male is the one that look for her attention.

I enjoy this little details of life, these birds you can see them everywhere but do we stop to notice this things. The amazing creativity behind nature, is beauty in simplicity.

The Anhinga and The Woodpecker

Do we pay attention of our surroundings in our daily basis? Are we aware of the wonders that are around us? We tend so easily to take life for granted and ignore the jewels of life in just a simple walk.

The same way we take for granted great things in our life because we just pass through life without highlighting our blessings.

I am not sure if the anhinga is aware of me, but I am aware of him.
I move and check him out from another perspective.
Peaceful while he dries his wings.
Downy Woodpecker!ย
So cute, he was working his wood pecking skills vigorously.
Probably he is taking a break.

Focus On The Search

How focus are we when we are trying to get something that we want or that we need? If the Osprey that I photograph here wasn’t focus enough on its search for food, it would not eat. While I was trying to get him focus on my lens, the osprey was in its search for food. He tried and tried again, soaring while looking down, then trying to get low to get a closer look, then went up again. This happens over and over again until he was able to catch his fish, and then flew away.

Maybe we should have that kind of focusing when we want something. Instead of giving up we should try again and again, at the end it will pay off.
