Best Travel Experience

I can say that our trip to Alaska was one of my best travel experience ever. This video is a little long, it is not a professional video but summarize the best moments of our trip back in September 2016. We need to go back! One of the amazing this about this trip was all the fauna that we saw. And the best, best moment of all was when I saw humpback whales for the first time.

I took this picture from our cruise balcony of another cruise passing by.

Raw video of one of the best moments of our trip.

After busy, there is calm.

Dolphin swimming in the calm waters of Sebastian Inlet after a busy boating day in the area.

These images bring to my mind the song Peace Be Still

During difficult moments is necessary to find a place within us or physically somewhere were we can connect with that peace that will help us to stay calm.

BIRD WEEKLY – PHOTO CHALLENGE – DUCKS AND GEESE

Lesser Scaup in Lake Eola, Downtown Orlando, FL January 20, 2018
This baby ( I think is a mottled duck) was injured at some point, but it looks like it is doing ok now. Still breaks my heart. I took this picture the same day as the Lesser Scaup in Lake Eola.

This is a response to a BIRD WEEKLY – PHOTO CHALLENGE – DUCKS AND GEESE

Enjoy my birds : )

Alone with your own demons

Alcatraz

I don’t think that there is a worst nightmare that being permanently locked up, alone and having your thoughts torturing yourself day and night.

If you go to San Francisco, California it is a must to go to Alcatraz. There is so much history in there, not only for the time that was served as a federal prison, but it was a military fortification and military prison as well. Also for a period of time ( 19 months) it was occupied by Native Americans from San Francisco who were part of a wave of Native American Activist across the U.S. Go visit to learn more. 🙂
